He can throw his Shiv to deal damage and set them up for a potential takedown the next time he engages with an auto-attack. Shaco’s Shivs are unique in that they passively poison targets on hit, slowing their movement speed. The Jack-in-the-Box is invulnerable and untargetable while stealthed, but it only has five seconds of life before the timer runs out regardless if there’s still some time left on its duration or not.

This ability allows Shaco to create a hidden box that will attack nearby enemies when triggered. Casting Jack in the Box causes him to briefly shimmer instead, revealing his position and making it harder for enemies to sneak up on you first. His invisibility breaks when he uses basic attacks or casts Two-Shiv Poison, but not from casting Hallucinate. His first attack while being invisible is empowered, dealing bonus damage to the enemy behind him for a critical hit chance of 100%. Shaco enters an Invisible state and teleports to his target destination.

It is because Shaco’s strikes generate a dangerous toxin that increases the target’s vulnerability to his poisons, enabling them to inflict more pain with each successive strike – even once they wield their weapon in front of themselves. It includes his basic attack and Two-Shiv Poison skill. Shaco’s passive deals extra damage when attacking behind an enemy.
